Generosity and the Craft of Awakening, Ottawa, ON

Liberation and awakening is really a grand craft. And meditation is a craft, not a rote technique. Re-orientate to crafting a Path of Awakening through the joy of building, discovering, unlearning, making mistakes, studying, asking questions-questing-a mandala of projects all with awareness. This is an essential view. We must learn how to patiently chip away, like a good sculptor in stone, at a theme or spiritual project until revelation and deep meaning emerges. This is something to learn and imbibe from the Guru and fellow spiritual friends. These teachings will also touch on: how to practice the art of generosity which is such a swift path to freedom; what is a rich spiritual person? How do we become rich and strong? Teachings on the Wish Granting Gem and the Buddha’s Wish Granting Tree; and the vanquishing of the poverty mind.
Lama Mark will also offer on Saturday morning a Zambala Yab-Yum empowerment from the Nyingma Tradition, a Guru Yoga practice.
