Meditation-Naturally: How is Continuity of Meditative Concentration Sustained ?

With the support of Lama Mark, this weekend retreat is a time for discovery and learning the essentials of meditation. Meditation is the profound lucidity of the natural unobstructed mind. It needs no dogma, continuity of awareness is ever present and its nature is free of emotional turmoil. How to unfold this elegant and wonderful simplicity? That requires a road map, an over-view and training or mental culture, mixed with lots of experimentation. In this retreat Lama Mark will emphasize two foundations: kindness and mindfulness of breath. Through talks, short duration meditations and gentle and slow movements we learn to sustain meditative awareness throughout the day. The retreat is for those at all stages of meditative skill. Questions during the retreat are welcome.

Camping by option ~ Food by collective effort.Bring warm clothes, blanket and or yoga mats and sitting cushion if you have them – a few are available.

Friday Public Talk by Donation

Retreat Course Fee of $40 /members or $60 – covers the Teachers expenses and basic sundries

Dana for the Teacher – In keeping with traditional practice, the Teacher does not charge a fee. It is left up to the participants to assess their own circumstances and to give accordingly, as generously as possible. Fees charged by Crystal Mountain cover expenses to provide the Teaching and are not payment for the Teaching itself.
